Three ways to bring your idea to life
1. Share your inspiration
Have a design in mind or a piece you’ve seen elsewhere? Send us photos, sketches, or a description of what
you’d like. We often create similar or inspired pieces at a more cost-effective price for our customers while
maintaining exceptional quality.
The easiest way to start is to use our
Contact page or the contact details listed there. Tell us
about your dream piece and how you hope to wear it or gift it.
2. Design an engagement ring in our Ring Studio
For engagement rings and classic solitaires, you’ll soon be able to use our online Ring Studio
to choose your setting, stone, metal, and details step by step.
Once available, your Ring Studio design will be reviewed and finished by Carl at the bench, ensuring it feels
as personal and enduring as your story.

3. Start with a loose diamond

the perfect mounting around your chosen gem.

How the custom creation process works
Step 1: Share your idea
We begin with a conversation about your vision. You can send us photos, inspiration images, sketches, or describe
a piece you’ve seen elsewhere. We’ll talk about your preferred metals, stones, budget, and timing.
Step 2: CAD/CAM design
Next, we generate a computer CAD/CAM image of your custom piece and share it with you. This
is your chance to review the design from multiple angles and request adjustments.
A non-refundable $200–$400 CAD/CAM fee*** is due before the design is generated. This fee
covers the artist’s time to create your detailed model and is credited toward your final balance
when the project is completed.
Step 3: Approve & place deposit
Once the final CAD/CAM image is approved by you, we move into production. At this point, a
50% deposit of the total project cost is due to initiate the creation of your piece.
Step 4: Crafting & completion
Carl then hand-crafts your piece using fine metals and carefully selected stones. When your jewelry is complete,
the final balance — the remaining 50% of the total cost, less the CAD/CAM fee already paid —
is due upon project completion.
A glimpse at CAD/CAM designs
CAD/CAM models allow us to fine-tune every curve, prong, and setting before the first wax or metal is ever cut.
